BioI'm Michael, and I was born on Halloween. I enjoy writing poetry, short stories, and novels; drawing, and making music.
I'm a multi-instrumentalist. I currently play bass, drums, guitar, piano, and double bass. I have played bass clarinet and mandolin, and have dabbled in banjo. I'm trying to take up the fiddle, but I'm at a loss for extra money. I've written numerous songs, some of which I have actually finished and could record.
As far as an art background, I've never taken a class (aside from mandatory art class in junior high in which I learned nothing) and I confess that I'm not the best artist in the world. Usually, I do a pencil sketch, shade it and call it done. I've colored a couple of drawings, which can be seen on my website.
As far as writing goes, I've written myself into corners on many novels and short stories, all of which are dead. However, I've written a novella and most of a novel taking place on Hra, a fictional world I created. I've also written the first chapter of a science fiction novel, Pandora's Box. Finishing that will come later. Poetry is another thing I enjoy. I've written many poems on a whim and haven't run out of ideas yet.
